Aspen Destination Guide

Aspen is an incredible ski destination. With multiple mountains catering to a variety of ages and expertise, there really is something for everyone. This is a foodie wonderland with restaurants galore; not to mention so many fun Après Ski options. It is also so easy to access! Aspen/Pitkin County airport is a 10 minute drive to the Silver Queen gondola in Aspen!

Little Nell Aspen - ski in ski out

Families: I would recommend Snowmass for families with young children because this is where the Treehouse Kids’ Adventure Center is located. They provide childcare for children ages 1-4 (the youngest I’ve heard of!) and ski school for kids 2.5-4. Ski school is offered at Snowmass and Buttermilk for older kids.

Where to eat:

Cache Cache - French-American with a chic, high-energy atmosphere and fun people watching

Matsuhisa - Japanese cuisine in dimly lit surrounds. One of my favorite ski town sushi restaurants.

Ellina - Italian with a cozy, romantic ambiance

Meat & Cheese - Casual (you guessed it) meat and cheese shop that also has an underground cocktail bar

Where to Après:

Cloud 9 - By far my favorite mountai après experience. Have a late lunch and stay for the DJ and Veuve party.

Ajax Tavern - conveniently located mountainside at the base of Aspen mountain

Mountain Social - in the St. Regis walking distance from the Aspen Mountain Silver Queen gondola

Be sure to stop for a pre-dinner cocktail at Hotel Jerome. We love the warm, eclectic atmosphere!
